Terms and Conditions


These conditions of sale apply to goods supplied by The Beauty of Marble Limited. Any Quotation given by The Company is an invitation to The Client to place an order with The Company only. No contract exists between The Client and The Company for the sale of any goods until The Company has received and accepted your order and the initial deposit has cleared funds.


Confirmation of an order will only be sent when all details have been agreed with The Company and the first payment has been made.  This forms a binding and legal contract between The Client and The Company.  No addition or alteration to the order will be valid unless agreed in writing by The Company.

PAYMENT – Supply and Fit

 The Company kindly request a payment of 50% for worktops is completed before ordering or templating can take place. A final balance for fabricating and fitting and any additional items will then be due 48 hours prior to the installation. Failure to pay will unfortunately result in delivery being delayed until funds are received. No deviation from the above payment terms is permissible without express permission of The Company. If you delay your delivery, the payment will still be due, unless otherwise agreed in writing with The Company. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on any outstanding or overdue payments at 3% above the current UK base rate. In the event of late or non-payment and without affecting any other rights or remedies of The Company, The Company shall be entitled to either suspend delivery of the goods and their installation without notice and charge interest until all amounts owing (including accrued interest) have been paid in full or terminate the contract by notice to you in writing. Failure to pay within this time will result in the debt being passed to our collection company.

PAYMENT – Supply only

The Company request that full payment is made at the point of ordering.


Template dates will be agreed upon when placing your order and will take place after all units have been installed by the clients kitchen fitter. It is The Client’s responsibility to ensure the site is ready for Template. If The Company’s Templater has been booked by the Client and attends the Clients house to find the kitchen units are not ready to be templated an additional charge will become payable to rebook the template. The Client must be present for templating to confirm worktop details, if The Client is not present The Company takes no responsibility for non standard details and any changes that need to be made at a later date will be chargeable at the Client’s expense.


Delivery date is scheduled upon completion of the template. Responsibility of the goods will pass to the client upon installation. Any damage or loss caused by persons not employed by The Company such as builders or other tradespersons is the responsibility of The Client. For goods installed by The Company risk shall pass after installation.


It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the site is ready for installation; details will be discussed with Clients individually.

The fitters will then return 1 to 2 weeks after template is complete to fit the worktops. The Company will ensure installation of The Client’s sink and drill the hole for the tap. All plumbing will be the responsibility of The Client. 


The Client will be shown a sample of a typical piece of worktop. Due to the nature of some of the stone used there may be natural variations in colour and surface markings. No guarantee is given that the worktops supplied will be an exact replica in terms of colour and surface markings as those shown in samples.


Voids and fillers surrounding the installed worktops are part of normal fitting tolerances and cannot be accepted as a basis for complaint.


If the agreed delivery date is extended after confirmation of the order, the Company may be forced to make a charge for the storage of your worktop. 


Cancellation of orders will only be accepted if The Company has agreed in writing and on condition that you reimburse The Company all costs and expenses or losses and damages resulting from the cancellation.


All goods supplied by The Company are warranted free from defects. The Client must inform The Company 48hrs from date of completed installation, by email, of any defeats to the materials or workmanship The Company has supplied. This does not affect The Client’s manufacturer’s warranty. The Company supply high quality stone and are confident that you will be entirely satisfied with your new kitchen worktop. Most Quartz and Granite are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee. Please refer to manufacturer’s website or speak to us for more details.
